What this program does: TV Media is a suspected downloader of unwanted programs and ad delivery program. Their license agreement denotes that this is the case. It is often found with WinTools and other software. Therefore there may be other unwanted software that needs to be removed. It is also known to block the installation of XP Service Pack 2 Tools Needed for this fix: HijackThis Microsoft TV Media Removal Tool Related Tutorials: How to use HijackThis to remove Browser Hijackers & Spyware Symptoms in a HijackThis Log: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TV Media] C:\PROGRAM FILES\TV MEDIA\Tvm.exe R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {20EC3D2D-33C1-4C9D-BC37-C2D500688DA2} - C:\Program Files\TV Media\TvmBho.dll Note: TV Media is sometimes installed into c:\TV Media\ as well. Instructions: Remove this program through the provided Add/Remove Programs entry. To uninstall it follow these steps:
Your computer should now be clean of the Syncroad program.
