Is there any way i can re-assign the buttons on my basic mouse? Is there a program i could download, or is it a hidden feature in the windows control window? I've looked all over in mouse properties, but it seems to only have the options to "switch the primary/secondary buttons for left-handed users." |

What kind of mouse is it? If it has a brand name on it you may be able to get some software from the manufacturers website to enhance the features.

It doesn't have any brand name specifically on it, but it came with an e-machines box. It has a Backwards RU on the bottom, but other than that, no sign of a specific brand. |

Try the Microsoft Intellipoint drivers or the Logitech Mouseware drivers - I find that most meece will work with them, and they have the ability to reassign buttons.
I'm currently using the Microsoft Intellipoint drivers with my Logitech Trackball and all is well. I can't say how this will work with wireless configurations as I've never tried it. -------------------- - John
