hard drive install with out windows reinstall installing a bigger ard drive and getting everyting from te old drive

can I upgrade a computer to a bigger hard drive
WITHOUT an operating system reinstall? Wat software can i use to copy to old drive contents to to new drive?

Depends.

As far as I know all of the OEMs offer software to clone the new drive. WD has a version of True image, Seagate has Diskwizard etc. If you are buying a retail drves (vs OEM) it will have a CD of software to clone your present disk. Otherwise download it from the OEMs website and you should be good to go.
