I see that many tax forms (PDF) can be downloaded and imput entered. I would like to scan applications, etc and than enter the information into the various fields just like the tax forms. It makes for a nice print job. How and what software will allow me to do this? Thanks

I know Adobe Acrobat Pro will allow you to add input fields to an existing PDF, as I've done it before (on someone's computer that has it, as I do not have that kind of money.). I'm not sure if the Standard version of Acrobat has this capability though.

PDF readers like Acrobat Reader can't edit PDFs. You would need a PDF editor, which will probably cost some $$ (though there are likely to be free PDF editors out there, I don't know on any myself)
