It is a design FONT. I cannot remember the name of the prog that includes it, but will check when I get home.
It includes 500 fonts and ALL Dimensions, finishes, angles and variations in shape are changebale.

It is a small cheap prog, that comes with Letter and card designing. I guess many of the shareware etc progs supply such a facility

I realize that this reply isn't exactly timely, but that font I believe is called "Diamond Plate" Click this link for a description and links showing the character sets. hth

Why is the word abbreviation so long?

first of all, dont worry about being slow to respond. i often forget about my own posts (like this one) and dont check back in days.

2. that is a very generous offer, but i already have enough fonts. there IS such a thing as too many fonts on one computer. like my schools computers. it takes a long time to scroll through a long list of mostly repetitive generic fonts that all look the same. plus theres many places that you can download many interesting and different fonts, such as my favorite, Dafont.com. < i really like the way that site is setup.

3. thanks for trying, but that link wasnt what i was looking for. i dont need/want a font with the metal textured inside. i just needed the SHAPE of the font. then i could add my own texture inside it. and a black and white font itsnt the same as all the shading inside that picture. i can add the metal texture myself.

oh well. it wasnt that important. if i ever find that font, that will be good. if i dont, oh well.

I just noticed this post now

Im a full time designer and I refer to this great site often

Its called myfonts.com

And they have this section called what the font on a tab, youll see it on the home page

What you can do is say crop a word out and upload it and it reads the letter then tells u the closest match, if that dont work they got these font gurus that analyze stuff like this

hope it helps

send me a message if u have any more font questions, i got a few thousand of them

Look up Stymie Extra Bold or Karnak Extra Bold.
