As some of you may have noticed, we have upgrade the forums to a new version of the software.

BC was running way behind on its updates and we were due for a major overhaul. There are some great features built into this software that I will talk about later, but have fun exploring it. Some features that are coming is an updated arcade and blogs for all our members.

Because this is new software, there are bound to be bugs. I have created a topic for you to post bug reports about things that are not working properly on the site. Please use the link below to post these problems that you may run into.

Thank you for your patience during today

BC looks very good! different but good! Some of the new things are pretty cool! My only problem is were is the spell check? I loved that (i also need it for my bad spellling (I know speling is spelled wrong)). I like the new strikthrough option!

Hey Grinler...

Nice job! Thanks for all the hard work you put in. The only thing I notice so far was when I clicked fast link, things just sat there. Still... I like it

Hi Grinler,

Very nice structure and lay-out. It is great that we don't have to scroll anymore to log in. Looking forward to find out more.

Great job.

I found this mod that says each member can have preferences for that. Like if they want it on or off.
Take a look:

Members should be aware of TWO different kinds of reply.

Quote Reply button: " reply - - -this will quote the entire message to which the reply is made, and should be avoided.

Fast Reply, Add Reply- - -this will allow a reply without automatically quoting the original text.

Cheers,
John

But you can always edit what is quoted.

I haven't figured out what the "+ Quote / - Quote" button does.

True enough, you CAN edit out the copied text, but many people do NOT do so, especially if the members are either new to BC (and think this is "just how the board works") or have never used a forum board before.
Maybe a FAQ would help.
