I saw the last post on this problem and thought I would submit my problem. I have an ACER Aspire 9410 Laptop and keep getting the BSOD. I ran the blue screen view file that you suggested and I got this:

Suggested cures start with installing latest SP...I would supplement that with uninstalling (via Device Manager) the USB controllers and then rebooting.

I am current on all the VISTA updates. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the USP drivers but it didn't work. However, it doesn't shut down while I'm using it, only after the laptop has been idle for 15-30 minutes. Thanks for your help

Have you tried updating the USB/Chipset Drivers for you laptop's motherboard?
