Hi.
After registering, the first page said, "Introduce yourself." I follow instructions and RTFM, so here I am.
I'm used to doing my own computer maintenance, and I've found that Google is very much my friend when I have a problem (or when a friend has asked me to fix a problem for them.) One site that seems to be on the first page of every Google search is Bleeping Computer, so it seems only fair that I should at least join the community, even if I don't have the time to participate very often.
In brief, I'm MistyCat, Male, 63 years old and my first computer was a Commodore 64 in 1983.
Hi to all, and thanks to those who help.

Welcome to BC, it's a great community.
If more people followed your example (and mine), i.e. RTFM and try Google first,
these forums would not be half as busy.
