In your BIOS setup utility, there has to be a boot order, there might be a choice of several boot options, depending on if SATA is used or PATA E-IDE.
If the BIOS does not find a bootable drive it moves onto the next device, then the next till it finds your NIC and then looks for a server to connect to, since there is none it throws an error.
I can not find a copy of how your BIOS menus are set up, other-wise I could see, where you need to go and how to change things.
But there should be something at the menus that says BOOT.
Make sure your hard drive is configured correctly in the BIOSes hard ware section, then make sure it is selected as the first BOOT device.
