Recently formed a discussion board using http://www.proboards.com/ things took off a little faster than expected in less than 20 days things exploded, Total Topics: 55 Total Posts: 333 Total Members: 52. My problem is that Pro boards constantly displays the error "too many connections" when switching view's on the board.
While this is Pro boards server problem, it seems to be the main rant on the comments and suggestion's thread along with the lack of bells and whistles.
So I would like to step up to http://www.invisionboard.com/ the same boards used here unfortunately when I inquired with Invision board they sent me this reply:

I'm afraid that as Pro Boards is a remotely hosted forum solution we're unable to access the database of the forum that you're currently running. Unfortunately this means that a conversion would not be possible."

Regards,

Alex Duggan

I was wondering if a manual conversion would be possible? Such as transferring members registration information so they would not have to re register and anytopics and posts to a new board. Is this possible? How could I go about doing it in an informed manner with out creating more of a mess than I have now.
Any information regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated as I'm feeling a little overwhelmed on what to do. huh.gif
Thank you,Gizmo68
