Streaming video crashes IE8 Streaming videos make my internet explorer crash immediately

Whenever I want to view a video online (YouTube, Hulu, flipvideo, etc.), I click the link/video and my browser crashes immediately. Any ideas on whats going on/how to fix it? Thanks.

What OS are you using? Have you checked Event Viewer to see what error messages occur at the same time?

Please go through the following steps:

1. Reinstall Internet Explorer 8
2. Install the latest version of Flash Player

*Have you also tried playing these videos on different browsers (Firefox, Opera, Chrome?)

*Do you have trouble watching videos offline, using Video/Media players?

I am using Internet Explorer. I will try Chrome and Firefox and let you know the results!

I installed chrome and firefox and still have the same problem. I can watch videos offline through media player fine. Any other suggestions?

I don't think it's a Flash problem. There's something else going on. The tipoff is that Flash for IE is different than Flash for Firefox. Did you check Event Viewer as suggested by Animal?
