I have Avast as my main virus scan program. I also have SpyBot, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Super AntiSpyware and Ad-Aware. I believe there are conflicts running some of these so what should I run in addtion to Avast?

It depends.
Generally, you shouldn't be running more than one antispyware program in real time.
I consider Spybot and Ad-aware as tools of the past.
Free versions of Malwarebytes and Superantispyware don't run in real time, so here there is no problem.
