USB Flash drives normally have a 10 year data retention limit placed on them, I am curious as to whether or not SD cards have the same limits seeing as it too is a type of flash memory. I have not been able to find any products which state a life limit, just temperatures.

Why is the data retention span in years? Doesn't it depend on the no. of times the card's been written to / used?
On an extended break.
