Yesterday, I rec'd the first BSOD I have seen on my computer (computer is only 1 year old). I have Bluescreenview on my computer and the results are below:

Dump File : Mini050410-01.dmp
Crash Time : 5/4/2010 6:31:12 PM
Bug Check String : DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
Bug Check Code : 0x0000009f
Parameter 1 : 00000000`00000003
Parameter 2 : fffffa80`07a63060
Parameter 3 : fffffa80`0ab8e050
Parameter 4 : fffffa80`077ba090
Caused By Driver : hal.dll
Caused By Address : hal.dll+e750
File Description :
Product Name :
Company :
File Version :
Processor : x64
Computer Name :
Full Path : C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini050410-01.dmp
Processors Count : 8
Major Version : 15
Minor Version : 6002
==================================================

I also checked the event viewer log and it appears that Vista tried to go to sleep, however it was unsuccessful. This is the only critical error right before the BSOD. This appears to have triggered the hal.dll error/bSOD. As of today, it has not reoccurred but I have no idea if this is a one time thing or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sean

Well since it has only happened once I would not be to concerned about it. So unless it happens again I think your fine. If it does happen again then just post back here with the blue-screen-view and we will start investigating it further.

Ok, sounds good. If it does happen again, I'll post the blue screen log as you instructed. Thanks for the quick reply
