Hi,

I have a 2 year old Dell XPS M1530 laptop that is just outside of its warranty period. It has started to shut down randomly. It even shut down while trying to boot up at the original screen. I am typing off it now, so obviously it still kind of works. It does seem to be getting very hot (hotter than usual).

Any ideas what I can do to find out what's wrong with it? Would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks

Yes, it could be a heating issue; however, I've used the same battery for 2 years, and I'm only experiencing this issue now..
