I'm wondering if i can increase the hard drive from 200GB to 500GB without frying the motherboard or anything else for that matter.

Sorry, From what i can find my motherboard model number is Intel Corporation D915GRO. The processor is Intel Pentium 4 3.00GHz.

Yeah you can do that easy, just make sure you ground yourself on the metal case before touching any internal components.

I don't think you would fry the motherboard as long as you take proper precautions and ground yourself to the case while woking inside the computer.
Now what I need to know is what you mean by increase the hard drive? Are you talking about replacing a 200 GB with a 500 GB drive, or increasing the partition size from 200 to 500?
Other than that, like I said, if you switch out one drive with another, make sure you keep yourself grounded to the computer case, because static electricity is a computers deadliest enemy.

Yes i'm talking about replacing a 200GB with a 500GB. Just want to make sure i dont fry nothing.
