Hi Shawniej -
Error code 0x80004005
This problem may occur if a file that the Windows Product Activation (WPA) requires is damaged or missing. This behavior occurs if one or both of the following conditions are true:
A third-party backup utility or an antivirus program interferes with the installation of Windows XP.
A file that WPA requires is manually modified.
This is the explanation from Microsoft - Run a sfc / scannow check from Run box - Have your XP CD to place in the slot once the scan has started -
Also close all open programs and disable your Antivirus while doing this -

Thank You -
XP SP3 Pro Desktop - Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium Toshiba Laptop - Malwarebytes - SUPERAntiSpyware - Microsoft Security Essentials -
HiJack This - SpeedFan - Cannon Printer - ATF Cleaner - TFC Cleaner - ORCA and Internet Explorer Browsers -
Secunia PSI - And I Use GOOGLE -

Do I run scan disc in Safe mode because I can't do it in regular mode as I get that error message and I can't go any further. And I do not have a win xp disc
