Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to take a minute to tell everyone a little about myself. I am an advanced user of over 25 years experience. To give you an idea, my first computer was a Timex 48K, then I upgraded to the then top-of-the-line Commodore 64, does anyone here remember that? I'm also from the pre-tech support era. In other words I'm used to resolving my computer issues on my own. With the resouces available on the net today the job of optimizing my computer is a lot simpler (but not simple by any means). I am always looking for new ways to keep my computer running the best it can, that's what brought me here. However, just as a great mechanic often drives a klunker, I'm stuck using this older computer, that no longer has OEM support and requires constant attention. Maybe we do it because we need a challenge, or we just like pulling our hair out? lol
I look forward to my experience using this site and meeting some of you!

Craig
