This self-help guide will walk you through the steps to remove the Nimda Virus.


Symptoms in a HijackThis Log:

F0 - system.ini: Shell=explorer.exe load.exe -dontrunold





Download McAfee Stinger

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode

Then run the Mcafee Stinger. When it is done you should no longer have the Nimda Virus.
