The entire line of MacBook Pros have been updated to use Intel processors with speeds ranging from 2.4 to 2.66 Ghz, come standard with 4GB of RAM, have a longer battery life, and a more powerful video card. The 15" and 17" models are now using the Intel's i5 & i7 chipsets and have display choices of Glossy, Hi-Res Glossy, or H-Res Antiglar screens.

The current product line is:

13" MacBook Pro

$1,199.00: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz, 250 GB Hard Drive, 10 hour battery, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics
$1,199.00: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz, 320 GB Hard Drive, 10 hour battery, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics

15" MacBook Pro

$1,799.00: Intel Core i5 2.4GHz, 4GB Memory, 320GB hard drive, 8-9 hour battery, Intel HD Graphics, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 256MB
$1,999.00: Intel Core i5 2.53GHz, 4GB Memory, 500GB hard drive, 8-9 hour battery, Intel HD Graphics, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 256MB
$2,199.00: Intel Core i7 2.66GHz, 4GB Memory, 500GB hard drive, 8-9 hour battery, Intel HD Graphics, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 512MB

17" MacBook Pro

$2,299.00: Intel Core i5 2.53GHz, 4GB Memory, 500GB hard drive, 8-9 hour battery, Intel HD Graphics, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 512MB

An interesting new feature is that the 15" and 17" models now include two video adapters that auto-switch depending on the use. According to Apple:

The 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro models come standard with automatic graphics switching. It’s a breakthrough technology from Apple that switches graphics processors on the fly to give you performance when you need it (when you’re playing the latest 3D game, for example) and better battery efficiency when you don’t (such as when you’re reading email). MacBook Pro transfers the workload between the powerful discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics processor and integrated Intel HD Graphics so seamlessly, you won’t even notice.

Ah, its nice to see them come out with a new line of processors. Of course, apple is still always a decent time behind all the other brands.

I wish that I could have one as well...
That's pretty amazing, having 8-9 hr battery life...
If only the price tag was cheaper...

I do not accept personal donations for assistance provided. I would ask that you instead consider donating the greatest gift - Organ Donation. Your organs are of no use to you when your gone. You will save a life that would otherwise be lost!
