Hello all., apologies if I've posted to the wrong area/forum. This would be my third year to work on my income taxes using Turbo Tax. When clicking on the TT icon or files, I kept getting errors. On the computer in question, I started in Safe Mode and clicked the 2007 Tax Return.tax and was asked "Open with?" Wordpad was the only one with results, but all unreadable various characters. So I took a 4gb SanDisk and tried to download and install, among other things, Adobe, to try to open the 2007 tax return pdf files. Got an <ERROR> Not a WIN32 Application. Googled this error and tried to download various "fixes" Still get errors. When clicking on the Turbo Tax icon I get: <Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) Click on OK to terminate the application> Maybe Recovery is the correct word of what I'm trying to do. Help! April 15th is hours away

EDIT:
Edited to fix code tags. ~tg
