A British e-mail company is daring hackers and other virus writers to slip an email containing a virus past their network. What do the hackers and writers get? A prize of 18,056 US.
This could be dangerous because in the past a company named Korean Digital Works offered a hacking competition to break into their web server, but instead the hackers took down their registration server that people used to sign up for the contest. -------------------- Lawrence

Wonderful!
 So they are not only encouraging hackers, they are paying them for thier time. Just what they need more practice for thier evil ways, and funds to futher thier cause. What are they thinking?

Probably the same thing the Homeland Security folks are thinking when they encourage training ppl in how to be terrorists. "what are the vulnerabilities and how can we fix them?" Please figure out how to practice terrorism and get paid to come up with the "right" answer to deal with it. No big deal, it's that's simple. Big risk, big paycheck.
