no sound no sound after malware removal

hi
got no sound after malware removal, checked volume control etc, speakers seem ok as they make sound when disconected. can anyone assist

check to see if your driver is installed correctly.

in device manager the cm18738 c3dx pci audio device is working properly

question: is this the sound card?

also have a asus a7v333, or is this the sound card?

yes this is your audio card what are you computer specs. ie manufacturer, model...

i think this sound card was diabled before the infestation of malware , it worked ok till then
