Hi -

I just registered to ask for help with a virus. While gmer runs (dds won't run on the OS) I'm posting here to say hi.

AVG says I have Win32\Alman, which is odd, as google suggests it's a virus from 3 years or so ago. In addition, the symptoms are significantly different from those I have found on the web.

Anyway ... No doubt my second post will follow in a few hours with more details and in the correct forum.
