I need help to install XP over the heavily infected Vista Business for my Acer Notebook Travelmate 6292. I really need somenoe help here.

are you wanting to save anything because you probably should back up your data before you do a downgrade install.
I would recommend just formatting and reinstalling xp.
you can do that by booting from the xp cd and allowing it to format the partition you are installing to.(note: you will lose everything)
