While i'm using my computer, whether i'm playing games or watching something on youtube, sometimes my screen goes randomly black and everything stops. My computer didn't shut off and it's still running, but none of the processes are running so I have to restart.

Is this a possible power supply failure? or maybe a mobo problem? any way to fix it or do i need to get new parts?

Ahh the black screen of death!

Out of curiosity, when was the last time you checked the inside of your system for dust build up?

The processors heat sink is the first place you want to check.

Came back to edit in a link, try this program for monitoring your temps and voltages:

Please take notice. Oreo and I will not be available until June of 2012.
Thank you for understanding my absence, it is job and college related, so all is good. If I do not answer your PMs this is the reason why. See you all soon!

Bruce.
