Hi Guys

I am running vista 32bit o/s on a dell machine. When switching on, the screen displays short vetical dashes over its area ,when the system loads I have what seems to be broken bar codes where my gadgets should be and my mouse drags one round as I go. As I am typing this now I am dragging threre short lines with me. As far as I can tell system working ok otherwise

Any help much appreciated

Sounds like a classic failing graphics card to me...sorry to be the bearer of bad news. You will likely have to replace it, or (if it's integrated) disable it and put in a secondary card.

You're welcome.

Newegg is a popular place to buy computers, parts, and accessories online.
