The easiest way is to buy a router. I found the basic Linksys at Walmart will do the trick for a two or three computer net. It' only $40 +-. The next one up has a print server. If you use a print server you will not have to leave both computers on to network a common printer. The $0 approach is to run Network Wizard thru your second computer and select "accessing the network thru another computer". It should be that simple.
