Perhaps somebody here knows the cure for this little problem My XP Pro Sustem is experencing.

I like setting my Desktop Appearance to Widows classic Style

SO I click aply let it appearance change then click ok

This will stay as long as i have the computer turned on

Then I turn off the computer for a few hours, Come back to it and turn it on and the screen Appearance reverts back to windows XP Style

Any ideas in this one?

thanks

Are you shutting the computer off by using the Start Menu>Turn Off Computer feature or just pushing the power button on the case?

Does this happen on other profiles/user accounts?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Its a profile issue with the registry your settings are not being saved.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.
