This is probably pretty simple but here it is. This morning I switched from AVG to Avast.

Long story short it has found a couple things as malware that I do not want it to block. How do I go about getting these files to run? One file for example is a hidden object game I DL from the net. I have tried to go into the vault and restore but that does not seem to work.

What happens when you try to restore the file?

Thanks for the reply back. When I click restore I get this message:

"You are trying to restore a file from the Chest. The file already exists.
Should the program overwrite the existing file?"

I choose overwrite and the file returns but still gets blocked (and removed) every time I try and use it.

You should be able to go into Advanced Options and tell avast to exclude or ignore the file.
