BleepingComputer.com: Use FUJI S5000 as webcam

Hello

I used to use my Fuji Finepix S5000 as a webcam on my old XP computer. I recently got a new PC which has windows 7. I really want to use my webcam again for Windows Live Messenger but it won't work.

If I go to Device Manager I scroll down to "Other Devices" it shows a "PCI Input Device" and "USB PC Camera" with a little orange triangle with an exclamation point in it.

I have installed the Fuji Drivers which did NOT help

Is there a generic or general driver provided that I can use to fix this???

Hi, normally there is updated drivers for the particular device.

Have you tried to go to Fujis website and look for the latest drivers?

I don't know if there is a generic driver to run a typical device however.

i said i installed the drivers...

yes i went to fuji's website.

it didnt help
