Hello,

(sorry for my English i'm from The Netherlands)

I have a problem with my external hdd. I want to convert it becaus it is Fat 32, and some of my video files are over 4GB.
I went to google for a search, and found on the ms site this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307881
I have done what they say but, my pc gave a problem that is not mentioned there...
I'll post a printscreen of the command prompt, so you can see what it says. (It is in ducht!(i'm sorry))

I have Windows xp Home
And a Western Digital My Book Essential Edition (1TB/USB2.0)

I hope you can help me!

Do what it says. Run chkdsk with /F parameter. In the command prompt window type chkdsk /F N: and press Enter
When Chkdsk is finished you can convert the drive to NTFS.
