Hi,

I recently purchased Panda Global Protection 2010. I downloaded it and then tried to remove Norton Antivirus. I also deleted some programs I thought were not necessary and some short cuts from my desk top. Since I did that, all my pictures in my picture folder disappeared.

Now I'm getting this message

Runtime Error!

Program:...es\Panda Security\Panda Global Protection 2010\TPSrv.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I know I shouldn't have gotten delete happy and should have researched more before I tried to clean up my computer.

Any help or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

It appears that you have removed some Microsoft VC runtime files which are required to run an application designed in Microsoft Visual C++. You need to install the VC runtime libraries again.

Thank you for those. It didn't seem to work though. I downloaded both and then restarted. The error message is still coming up.

Download the latest version of Panda Global Protection 2010, disconnect from the net, uninstall your current version and reinstall.
