Why is Google leaving China?

I was reading on cnn news that China does not want censoring on there search engine, or is it the other way around?

What does that mean in layman's terms, and how do you think it will affect Google and our economy? :flowers:

Thanks to all, who responded

On 22nd Match 2010, Google has stopped censoring search results in China. Google.cn users are being redirected to Google.com.hk (Hongkong)

Which nationality of Google(There are many) and which nations economy are you referring to? This is a multinational forum with many countries and economies being represented within our membership ranks.
