Hate to say it...but I've already given you my approach to what appears to be your scenario.
I believe in understandable resolutions to computer problems. I'm not a coder, so I don't have the knowledge that a coder might have.
I do have great familiarity with XP and varying situations...so I don't necessarily try esoteric solutions to problems that can be overcome by normal XP repair/reinstall procedures.

Are you sure that your system is 100% cleaned?
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

All, According to Myrti the system is clean. I only want to do repair/reinstall as a last resort. If there is something that appears may help, I'd like to give it a shot first. The process described in KB article 315296 sounded promising since my problems seem to be in the COM+ system. Are you saying that no one at bleepingcomputer has used this process before?
Thanks, Wayne

Have you tried my idea about just using ntrights.exe to accomplish adding the ImpersonatePrivilege permission?
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315276
You will be able to accomplish the same thing you would like to do with secpol.msc without needing to use secpol.msc and you can undo it if something goes haywire.

The article says service is the user
