The time has come once again for a new computer. I posted on here last year about building a new one, when someone broke out my window and stole my car radio, which threw a wrench in my plans.

Anyways, my budget is $800.

I currently own an antec 900 and windows 7 x64 which i intend to use, the of the parts i want to use are as follows:

~However my problem comes in during the choosing of a Video card, which i am utterly lost at choosing. However, i do need a card that will be able to pump out some serious graphical power, well at least enough to be able to play any modern game(a friend suggested a 5770, which i have not checked into) but am not sure what exactly will "pair" with my computer, but i need a card able to handle UT3 as well as pretty much any modern game, (save for crysis which is a freak).

Any suggestions/help/criticism would be greatly appreciated

I don't normally pay attention to Newegg ratings, but in this case, I would pick any of those top 3 instead of an OCZ memory module now. Look for the performance you need at the lowest voltage.

A 5770 is a solid card. It is not exactly a "monster" but it will run modern games at 1650X1080 comfortably. If you can, hold off until the 26th as the NDAs on the new NVidia stuff will be up and there might be a price change on ATI products, or not.

I agree with everything that has been said so far, though I would like explain some differences between various motherboards. The motherboard you have chosen will work just fine with the setup you have and has an on-board graphics card. However, if you are going to be running Crossfire in the future, you may want a 790FX motherboard. If you are not going to be running Crossfire, you may be able to save some money by going with a 770 chipset-based motherboard. The motherboard you've chosen does not have SATA 6 or USB 3.0, which may not be an issue if you foresee yourself purchasing a new PC in a few years. As for the video card, I suggest the Radeon 5770, however, you should wait until the NDA is lifted on the 26th to see if ATI/AMD will be lowering the price on that card. The 5770 runs similarly to the 4870 in many games.
