If the game says it requires 256mb or 512mb video card, will my system support it?
Windows 7 Home Primium
Intel i3 530
6gigs of ram
No Video Card
I just want to know if I will "need" a dedicated card. I know that makes all the difference but the internal i3 cards seem to work pretty well on their own. What are the parameters for determine whether I need a dedicated when looking on game min and max requirements? Are there any guidelines with these new processors?

How fast are the new i3 processors at graphics? If the game says it requires 256mb video card, will my system support?

Supposedly you should be able to set the video memory up to 1.7 gigs in your BIOS, so that covers your memory requirement. That being said, it will be a slug with any demanding 3D games if the benchmarks are to be believed.

Dedicated Cards are much better. What do you do on your computer?
