I am having difficulties getting my iphone synced with exchange. I am a novice.

I believe that the reason is because of my firewall. I think everything is set up ok though my firewall just blocks me accessing the exchange server.

For example if I open a browser and type exchangeserver.mydomain.com, even from outside of the network, I actually get the router login page. I know this to be internal ip address 10.0.0.1, my server is 10.0.0.2 and I believe the exchange ip is 10.0.0.100 as I can access mail using 10.0.0.100/oma from a browser internally.

So now I am stuck with where to go or how to proceed. My router is a Vigor 2600v series - if this helps?

Any tips or ideas would be gratefully received. I am a novice when it comes to this.

Thanks a lot

Sounds like you need to setup port forwarding for your exchange server. This will tell the router what to do with requests for it.
Hope this helps Posted Image
