Hi,

I think the video card on my relatively new laptop is hosed. I bought an HP Smart Touch tx2-1025dx in May of 09 and beginning in February of this year the video card, an ATI Radeon 3200 HD, IIRC keeps failing (display becomes pixelated and soon purges memory and reboots). Same issue occurs in Safe Mode. The card is hosed right? How about the motherboard? I hope I can get some satisfaction from HP for this problem.

Thanks for any info, good or bad,

-ed

Seems to fall under warranty considerations, IMO.

I'd be contacting HP, rather than this forum.

You've tried uninstalling current video drivers...then installing fresh ones from the HP website?

Louis
