I just purchased an HP G71 with T4300 Dual Core, 4 GB Ram, running Windows 7. When trying to connect to my wireless network it will not connect. There are other wireless signals around me so I tried those just to check and I got the same thing from all but one signal and it is one of the weakest.

I am lost and have no idea what is going on. All other Computers in the house can get on my network no problem, Windows 7 is the only one having issues

What is the model of your router? Do you have to supply a keyfor encryption? Is the wireless enabled on the laptop? Does the laptop see your wireless? What is the message you get when you try to connect to your router?
