portable firefox apps

hey im trying out portable firefox, and it starts really slow, i want to know if theres any apps (like toolbar things) that will make it go any faster?

i would also like to know what kind of apps everyone likes so i could try them and maybe start liking firefox lol.

see thats exactly what i thought...i saw one toolbar say that it makes webpages load faster and i didnt really understand how that works.....

but do you know of any good toolbars or add-ons that are usefull?
or does anyone know of any?

It's rather hard to advice on add-ons, because it's mostly about your personal preferences.
