I went though a process about two weeks ago where one of the BC experts helped restore my computer and ultimately eliminate a search engine redirect problem. The support was outstanding.
Today I noticed a new problem when I am using IE 8. I will get messages telling me the webpage has been restored but I am not able to get it back. When I close IE 8 I see Notepad Icons on my desktop with labels such as "hs_err_pid2712" The content says something about an Exception Stack Overflow.
Any ideas?

Well, I think I answered my own question. I saw a reference to Java in the Notepad files stored on my desktop. I updated my JAVA and all is well now.

Thanks for letting us know your resolution. Happy computing.
The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.
