I have a relatively new 64 bit HP Laptop and have just started having problems. Jucheck.exe popsup constantly. I don't know if this is just Java's update or if I have picked up "something." I can restore to 11 Mar 2010 and things seem to work better. I have let the machine update automatically, and when I do, it craps out again--back to system restore... I really wanted to like Windows 7, but...

It depends on file location.
If it's located in C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.X\bin\jucheck.exe, it's legit, if somewhere else, it may be malicious
