New Mystery!

What is happening! I go to shut down my old Dell GX60 all looks Ok but it flashes a black screen which I captured on my digital but it is in MOV no clue how to convert. Anyway back to my issue, the computer when shut down reboots the only way to shut it down is to pull the cord.

Things I have done:
Ran MBAM, SAS, defrag, chk disc, and MSE all to no avail.

The computer runs fine with no glitches but will not shut down, any input always appreciated!

This might be a long shot.... but have you installed any new USB devices lately and or are you trying to shutdown with anything USB inserted?

Thanks for the replies, there was nothing plugged in or any changes that I know of. I ran what tools I had thinking i picked up something but all came out Ok. Louis thanks I will check your link after I get a few chores done we are expecting some very bad rain here.

Thanks Louis! I read through the link and disabled auto shut down, that allowed me to read what was on the blue screen. I turned out to be the Logitech mouse driver took a little time to isolate it, I rolled back the driver and rebooted. I went to type something and the key board was not responding, I rolled it driver back and rebooted all is well even after two more cold boots.
