My computer has been acting out lately. I ran virus scanners, malware, spyware, and cleaned up my system but for some strange reason my computer has been randomly been shutting down for no apparent reason. I could be writing a paper for school and it will just turn off without any warning. If anybody has had this problem and has been able to fix it please respond. Or if anybody can just suggest what the problem might be please respond. It doesn't give any error reports after I turn back on.
System Specs:
Windows 7 Pro (7600) 64-bit
4GB Ram
320HDD
AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core QL-65 2.10 GHz
Scanned Computer With:
AVG Free
Malwarebytes
Spybot

If it just goes to a black screen without any error messages and shuts off, that is usually an indication of overheating
That or power problems

Gooday, I had this problem. Fixed it by identifying faulty RAM module. As per thread above.
