I keep getting update reminders to install update for Java.
I allow it to run, but its keep installing the same update! So i click No in the future, and it keeps on flashing.
Any help? What does Java do excatly? I know that its a web code, so how important it is to keep?

Java is one of the most important pieces of software installed on your computer (next to anti-virus).
See if this fixes it:
Download and install Revo Uninstaller. Use it to uninstall Java from your computer. It will scan for leftover registry keys and files after the uninstall. Make sure you delete them (backup the registry first to be safe).
Then install the Offline version of Java. Reboot afterward if you wish.
See if you get the same reminder.

If it comes back (let's hope it doesn't), you can turn off the automatic updates, although I don't recommend it. Out of date Java can be a security vulnerability (like out of date anti-virus pattern files).
