After running the Windows 7 upgrade advisor, I have one issue with a yellow explanation point that concerns me. Intel PROset for wired connections version 9.20 Dell. It says that I may experience issues running this program on Windows 7.
Does anyone know what this program is and if it will cause a problem after upgrading to Win 7?
I am wanting to upgrade a Dell Dimension E510 with Windows XP to Windows 7.
Thank you.

I would assume that it is your LAN device/connection

Found this tool on Intels web site...

Update Intel® Wired Networking Drivers
Intel® Driver Update Utility

I ran the tool and it updated the driver I had. After that I re-ran the Windows 7 upgrade advisor and the issue with the yellow explanation point (Intel PROset for wired connections) was gone.

I then installed Windows 7 with no problems and everything (including the network connection) seems to be running fine.
