Hi everyone. Hate to be one of those people that posts a "can you fix this for me" question on their first post to a forum...
But I'm gonna do it anyway.
I've installed WordPress 2.9.2, and everything seemed to be fine at first. But now I find that I'm unable to change my options for uploads. Then, I just tried to upload, and I can't do that either! I keep getting:
Oddly enough, I am able to upload an image via the QuickPress box on my dashboard...
So I went into my shell and chmod 777 *everything* in Wordpress, just to test. But still no dice.
All I want to do is to be able to let users upload a file of any type to my site up to 1GB. I do not allow people to register anonymously - they have to go through me to get a username/password, so I'm not real worried about security at this point. I'm just kind of debugging!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've experienced this problem with the Filosofo Old-Style Upload and the WP Easy Uploader plugins.
Thanks!
