Win7 compatibility issues with D-Link router?

Hello,
I just bought a Lenovo Ideapad with Windows 7. I can't get a wireless connection to work with my D-Link DI-524. Are there any methods to get this to work with Win 7 or are there compatibility issues?

says your D-link is compatible with both 32bit and 64bit versions of Win 7.
Have a look at this site and go down to the Dec16 2009 entries.

Its probably your network card that is having the issues.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Routers are not OS dependent, if they were then those companies wouldn't be around at all. Any router out there can work with any operating system you through at it. Its either a software issue or a hardware issue on your lap top.

Ive been in IT for 10 years, and what you are saying is wrong.

Not sure what you're getting at? I would have thought the reference I gave (entry by djoaktown dated Dec 16 2009) supported what you were saying i.e. it was software - quoting from the link:
"The laptop is a Lenovo, and I searched their forums and found that the problem was this Lenovo Readycomm network software that came preinstalled on the computer. Somehow it wasn't allowing the wifi to establish a connection. Once I uninstalled the program the wifi connection was fine. "
