Hello there.
I reinstalled my MS office and now when I want to spell check it, it says:
"Word cannot find the spelling file MSSpell3.dll or mssp232.dll for English (U.S.)."
I never got this error before, I reinstalled it again, but it gives the same message when I want to spell check.

What do I have to do to fix it? :flowers:

Thank you,
heinz

You can freely download any missing dll files from here:
http://dll.yaroslavl.ru/index.php3?lng=&in_char=M
This is where you should put MSSpell3.dll in Windows XP:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof

Not sure about the other file cos it's not on my system (maybe cos i'm set up for British English spelling), but I imagine it belongs in the same place as the other one.

Thank you, mate.

But you, I put the file where you said, it still gives the same error. :flowers:

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Please see the following MS support page.

You receive the "Word cannot find the spelling file Mssp3XX.dll or Mssp232.dll" error message when you check the spelling and grammar of your Word 2002 document

Let us know what solution, if any, worked for you.

Good-luck.
JC
